Mulenga joined Oz Kids when he was quite young. Mulenga was born in the fishing village Shimugalu. Mulenga’s father was a fisherman, one day when he was fishing he was attracted by a Hippo and killed. Mulenga’s mother could not care for him and placed him in the orphanage. She visits Mulenga when she can.
Mulenga is 11 years old. He is a loving and giving boy who enjoys helping around the home, playing games and do crafts. He likes spending time with Mr. Wemba who is our Chaplin/Gardener. He likes reading and working in the garden. He looks forward to having friends and volunteers visit the home.
Mulenga goes to Ebenezer School, he is in grade three. Mulenga like learning new things at school and his best subject is English. Mulenga would like to go to university to study medician.
Two families have greatly blessed Oz Kids and the children by paying the school fees and many items the children need for their schooling. We greatly appreciate what these loving people have done, the families visit the children when they can, each child loves them very much. Richard and Denise Maltman are from Australia and Lillie Romeiser is from the U.S.A Thank you all and may God richly bless you.
If anyone would like to write to Mulenga please email your letter to us and we will pass it on. The children would love to know people are thinking of them.
